I founded my garden design business in 2008 although I’ve been working in gardens and design for nearly 50 years. During those years I trained for a BA (Hons) in 3D Design and gained an HNC in Horticulture & Garden Design. For 20 years I taught design to undergraduate university students and I also spent 4 years at the BBC where I worked on the BBC2 programme, Gardeners’ World.
Being outside and in gardens has always been my natural choice of environment for both work and leisure. I also volunteer as a local Tree Warden, my garden furniture and sculpture has been shown at the annual Art in the Garden exhibition at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Hampshire. I have also shown my garden furniture designs at the Westonbirt Arboretum Festival of Wood, the Hidden Art exhibition in London and the international Art Outside exhibition held in Quenington, Gloucestershire. I recently produced the illustrations for Her Leafy Eye; a collaboration with Prof. Lesley Saunders on a book of poems inspired by the great eighteenth century Rousham Gardens in Oxfordshire.
